This autumn at the Small World Theatre we have an action packed new programme of performances and artist events at the theatre and around the Cardigan area.
There are some fresh new talents being showcased at the Small World Theatre this season with regular live performances.
September 5th – 7:30pm
The first act of the new autumn program is BBC featured artist Gabrielle Murphy taking to the stage on September 5 with the gifted Delyth Mclean opening the show.
Gabrielle Murphy is a very talented singer and songwriter; she is only 18 years old and made an astonishing debut at last years Sŵn Festival. Gabrielle encompasses a multitude of different genres, ranging from smooth jazz to R&B. The very talented Delyth Mclean will support Gabrielle with her unique take on contemporary Welsh music in conjunction with soul music. £8
August 17th & 18th
The Garden 2014
An outdoor exhibit showcasing contemporary artists bringing the garden back to life. Entry into this exhibit is free; there will be cream teas and other refreshments available.
August 22nd – 7:30pm
Made in Roath ~ Made in Drefelin
The Made in Roath artist group has travelled to west Wales to present Made in Drefelin with the help of a number of contemporary urban artists. They will be interacting with the landscape of this rural site-specific exhibition.
August 20th – September 1st
Colony 14 Cardigan
50 artists will be exhibiting at sites across town for the duration of this event. Some establishments showcasing these exhibitions are Bridge Warehouse, The Eagle, Cambrian Quay and Bookends. You and your friends are all invited to a private viewing of Colony 14 Cardigan on August 16 at 5pm.
During Colony 14 Cardigan, the Small World Theatre will be home to two exhibitions.

Artist, Polly Walker-Penn, explores conservation and the protection of red squirrels in Wales in her latest exhibition.

GWRANDO: Visible Voice
A very unique exhibition focusing on experiments in visible voice conducted at an old tannery.
