Y Talbot has created a stunning landscaped garden as part of the final stage of a three year renovation programme of this well known former Drover’s Inn costing over £1m.
Y Talbot has a large south facing rear garden with superb views over Tregaron and the Cambrian mountains.
The large sloping site has been terraced to create attractive seating areas for al fresco eating and drinking whilst extensive planting of heathers and flowering shrubs has created an attractive and colourful backdrop. Their boundary clawdd or hedgebank has been planted with a hedge of native hawthorn, hornbeam, hazel and beech interspersed with oak and mountain ash.
New guest parking for cars and motorbikes and a lockable bike store has also improved access and amenity for our hotel guests.
Mick Taylor, Owner, said “ I am a keen gardener and wanted to compliment our high quality internal renovation with outdoor facilities to match. I also wanted our garden to echo its surroundings with extensive use of heather and native trees providing an attractive and relaxing space for our customers .”
